The coming Friday will witness the release of Riteish Deshmukh's 'Banjo'. The film is likely to impress in the Mumbai-Mahrashtra belt. The other release of the week, 'Wah Taj' and 'Parched' etc. are not expected to achieve much at the ticket window.

 Pink  Verdict: Awaited
Weekly Earnings: -  Total Earnings: -
The new release of last Friday, mega star Amitabh Bachchan’s Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directed, 'Pink', which started on a slow note (4 crore) on the opening day picked up phenomenally the very next day (7.50 crore), and is all set to put up a good show, during the weekend.

 Raaz Reboot  Verdict: Awaited
Weekly Earnings: -  Total Earnings: -
The other release of the same week as 'Pink', Bhushan Kumar’s Vikram Bhatt venture starring Emraan and Kriti, 'Raaz Reboot', started better (5.50 crore) than the Big B starrer, but remained flat on the second day, and is not expected to achieve much by way of box-office success, as per the buzz and trend.

 Baar Baar Dekho  Verdict: Flop
 Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 29.50 crore ; UK £150,000 ; US$615,000  Total Earnings: India Rs. 29.50 crore ; UK £150,000 ; US$615,000
PB Rating: 7.5 out of 10  Public Rating (by 9 unique users): 4.5
Director: Nitya Mehra  Producer: Ritesh Sidhwani, Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar
Music: Jasleen Royal, Amaal Mallik, Arko, Bilal Saeed and Prem Hardeep  Lyrics: Prateek Kuhad, Kumaar, Bilal Saeed, Arko, Aditya Sharma and Amrik Singh
Starring: Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Malhotra, Ram Kapoor and Taaha Shah
 Genre:  Recommended Audience:
Last week saw a mini David versus Goliath battle as the much bigger (52 crore raw budget) and lavishly mounted 'Baar Baar Dekho' (turbo charged by super hit ‘Kaala Chashma’) saw a very ordinary run at the ticket window.

The film is also below the mark in the Overseas (better in US).

 Freaky Ali  Verdict: Average
Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 13.50 crore  Total Earnings: India Rs. 13.50 crore
The other release of the same week, the Nawazuddin and Amy venture, 'Freaky Ali', which started on a dull note, saw an increase in collections as the weekend progressed (some centers midweek saw better numbers than 'Baar Baar Dekho'). Given the 8 crore all India procurement cost (Vashu Bhagnani’s Puja Films), 'Freaky Ali' needs just 3-4 crores more to get into the positive side of the fulcrum. Chances are it will!

Happy Bhag Jayegi  Verdict: Average plus
Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 3.50 crore  Total Earnings: India 28.50 crore ; UK£120,000 ; US$350,000
Meanwhile after a sedate opening week (17.50 crore) Aanand L. Rai’s Abhay Deol and Diana Penty starrer, 'Happy Bhag Jayegi', maintained surprisingly well, during the latter weeks, and is an average success.

The film has also done well in the Overseas, given the cost and cast.

 A Flying Jatt  Verdict: Flop
Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 2 crore  Total Earnings: India Rs. 37 crore
Checking out Remo Dsouza’s Tiger Shroff starrer, 'A Flying Jatt', after a decent first week (35 crore) the film crashed badly all over, and is the first flop for Tiger.

 Rustom  Verdict: Super-hit
Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 2.50 crore  Total Earnings: India Rs. 126.50 crore ; UK£320,000 ; US$1,900,000
Concluding with Neeraj Pandey’s Akshay Kumar and Ileana Dcruz starrer, 'Rustom', the film is ending it’s highly successful super hit run.

'Rustom' has also impressed in the overseas grossing $6m.
