The major release of the coming week is the political satire, `Jai Ho Democracy`, featuring prestigious names such as Annu Kapoor, Om Puri, Satish Kaushik, Adil Hussain and Seema Biswas. The other listed releases are `Ishq Ke Parindey`. However, just like a couple of weeks back, it`ll be another Hollywood venture, `Avengers Age Of The Ultron`, which will dominate.

 MR. X  Verdict: Awaited
Weekly Earnings: -  Total Earnings: -
The hype for the Bhatt-Emraan`s latest venture, `MR. X`, was missing, unlike the teams` previous films. Netting just around 14 crore, during the opening weekend, does not auger well for the box-office prospects of `MR. X`.

Margarita With A Straw  Verdict: Flop
Weekly Earnings: -  Total Earnings: -
The other release of the same week, Kalki Koechlin`s `Margarita With A Straw` could not make a mark, netting just around 2.25 crore during the opening weekend, and has failed commercially.

 Ek Paheli Leela  Verdict: Average
Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 22 crore  Total Earnings: India Rs. 22 crore
Moving on, T-Series’ Sunny Leone starrer, `Ek Paheli Leela`, could not quite capitalize on a decent (15 crore) opening weekend, during the weekdays, despite the single screens putting up a good show. The film though is a profitable venture for the makers, given the reasonable investment (17.50 crore).

 Dharam Sankat Mein  Verdict: Flop
Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 8 crore  Total Earnings: India Rs. 8 crore
The other release of the same week, Paresh Rawal’s `Dharam Sankat Mein`, could not succeed commercially, despite its noble message.

Fast & Furious 7  Verdict: Blockbuster
Weekly Earnings: India Rs 20 crore  Total Earnings: India Rs. 90 crore
Meanwhile the Hollywood venture, Vin Diesel’s `Fast & Furious 7`, has slowed down considerably in the second week, after an astounding and record breaking 70 crore (for Hollywood films in India) opening week. `Fast & Furious 7` is most likely to end up as the first Hollywood 100 crore netter in India.

 Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!  Verdict: Flop
Weekly Earnings: India Rs. 5 crore  Total Earnings: India Rs. 25 crore ; UK £55,000 ; US$580,000.
After an ordinary 20 crore first week, Yash Raj Films’ `Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, fell badly in the second week, and will see the makers in the red by a couple of crores, even after accounting for overseas and non-theatrical rights.
