The film has already smashed Bodyguard`s first day record of 21 ccore and narrowly missed RA.One’s best ever single day figure of 23 crore by netting just over 22 crores. `Agneepath` has cost producer Karan Johar 75 crore to make and release (half of which has already been recovered from sattelite and audio rights) and is sure to be a clean hit and reaffirms Hrithik Roshan’s never in doubt star power! |

The film is a superhit worldwide (hit plus in India) for the global distributor, Reliance Big Pictures, who paid Rs. 80 crore (excluding print & publicity cost) for the global rights of `Don 2` (already recovered 36 crore from satellite rights and 9 crores from audio), with the dubbed (Tamil & Telugu) version(s) adding another 3.50 crores. The Shah Rukh Khan–Priyanka Chopra starrer, `Don 2`, is an Overseas blockbuster grossing $ 11.75 million.
