The Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s zom-com, `Go Goa Gone`, saw a decent weekend and steady weekday collections(though at mid-end). Given the very reasonable 9-10 crore budget, `Go Goa Gone` is all set to be a plus fare. The film though has disappointed in the Overseas.

The other release of the same week, Karan Johar’s `Gippi` did not manage to translate the critical appreciation into numbers, but will tide over thanks to the low budget.

After a healthy weekend Sanjay Gupta’s `Shootout At Wadala` maintained decently during the weekdays (in Mumbai-Maharashtra, Nizam and CP). The film will have to show a reasonable second week to be considered a safe bet, due to the high involved costs. `Shootout At Wadala` is alright in the Overseas.

Meanwhile Viacom 18’s `Bombay Talkies` saw a decent run (despite a limited release). `Bombay Talkies` will surely be a plus fare once it releases in the overseas, more so due the critical acclaim as also the very reasonable 6 crore budget.

The winner of May is undoubtedly T-Series and Vishesh Films’ `Aashiqui2`, which after a great opening week saw a rock steady second week. Given the 9 crore budget, `Aashiqui2` is a blockbuster, the first of the 2013.
