Last Friday (May 15th) saw the release of People Pictures` 99, the first film in a long time to have released across all multiplexes chains and most single screens of India. Producer of `99`, Anupam Mittal, had postponed the release of his film for the sake of the unity of the producers and distributors and he got some rewards for his gesture! The film started on a slow note on Friday but had a rewarding weekend haul to show. Trade feels that another decent (second) weekend may see the resaonably budgeted film.
