Last Friday’s Karan Johar directed Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer, `My Name Is Khan`, faced release problems in Mahararashtra, Gujarat and parts of Madhya Pradesh. As a result the film lost around 2-3 crores. The terrorist attack in Pune on Saturday again hit the collections during the late shows. All said and done the collections at places where MNIK released flawlessly were excellent (barring C.P. and C.I. where it was just about average) at the multiplexes, but lower in single screens. However, as the weekend progressed, each day saw an improvement in collections over the previous day. Given the impediments and roadblocks, the film had a very good weekend to show. In the Overseas, MNIK is record breaking as expected and predicted.
