Yash Raj’s Parmeet Sethi directed `Badmaash Company` did fair business in the first week and had a reasonably good second weekend as well, as there was no major release. The Shahid-Anushka starrer failed to achieve the same in the Overseas.

It`s A Wonderful Afterlife  Verdict: Flop

Gurinder Chadha`s `It`s A Wonderful Afterlife` and its Hindi dubbed version `Hai Marjawaan!` failed to impress the Indian audience and has also disappointed the UK audience.

 Housefull  Verdict: Hit
 Weekly Earnings: India Rs.14.20 crore ; UK £43,149 ; US$64,810  Total Earnings: India Rs. 60.90 crore ; UK£635,869 ; US$1,165,104
Director: Sajid Khan  Producer: Sajid Nadiadwala
Music: Shankar Ehsaan Loy  Lyrics: Sameer and Amitabh Bhattacharya
Starring: Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan
 Genre: Comedy  Recommended Audience: General
Sajid Nadiadwala’s `Housefull` saw an expected big fall, which was inevitable due to the dropping of the extra first week shows that the multiplexes had added (on their own accord), in favour of `Badmaash Company` and of course the usual decline in numbers given the oversaturated release. In spite of that, the trade terms the second week performance of the film as ‘fair’. The Sajid Khan directed Akshay, Lara, Riteish, Deepika and Arjun starrer has also done good business in the Overseas though it was expected to do better.
