| This week saw almost half a dozen new releases in the form of `Aashayein`, `Antardwand`, `Gumshuda`, `Hello Darling`, `Madholal Keep Walking` and `Soch Lo`. The reason is that in the coming weeks the big guns in the form of Karan Johar`s `We Are Family` and after that Salman Khan`s `Dabangg` releasing in anticipation of the festive period of `Janamashtmi` and next week `Eid`. Unfortunately all the mentioned releases saw a poor opening day. |

The latest release from Yash Raj Films, the Pradeep Sarkar directed `Lafangey Parindey`, which had embarked on a moderate start, showed no improvement and even a healthy `Rakshabandhan` day could not improve matters much. The 12-13 crore film now has to rely on non-theatrical rights for safety! The Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone starrer has also been rejected in the Overseas.
