`Spider-Man 3`(English and dubbed) surpassed our predictions and took the Indian audience by storm. The Hollywood venture released with 588 prints, including 261 in Hindi, 162 in English, 78 in Tamil and 6 in Bhojpuri. The first week collections of `Spider-Man 3` are expected to re-write the record books for Hollywood releases in India.

The negative reports about the poor performance of `Ta Ra Rum Pum` turned out to be incorrect as the Saif-Rani starrer collected impressively from the mutiplexes. Agreed that the first day was dull but as we had indicated, the collections picked up beautifully from the second day onwards and the good first week is an indication of that. However, given the fact that `Ta Ra Rum Pum` is an expensive movie, it has to sustain in the coming weeks. The Overseas `Ta Ra Rum Pum` performed very well in the UK but crashed in the US. Overall a dissapointment for a Yash Raj product.

After 5 steady weeks, Vipul Shah`s biggest hit in India and Overseas, `Namastey London`, took a major drop in its sixth. However, the Akshay-Katrina starrer is already a good hit in India (super hit in Delhi-UP, East Punjab and Rajasthan). Needless to repeat that in the Overseas `Namastey London` is a superhit and Bollywood`s biggest earner of 2007 in the UK.
