| This week`s new releases include Emraan Hashmi`s `Crook-It`s Good To Be Bad` and the Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh starrer, `Do Dooni Chaar`. As per the early reports, Mohit Soori`s `Crook` has turned out to be a hurried job with poor script and execution. The opening (barring East Punjab) has been very ordinary. The return to the good old days via Walt Disney’s Rish-Neetu nostalgic project, `Do Dooni Chaar`, has had a poor start but is getting uniform praise. |

Ranbir-Priyanka`s `Anjaana Anjaani` saw a good start at city multiplexes but it was average at single screens. The trade predicts a not so rosy picture (after the good weekend) for the Siddharth Anand directed flick. The film has done decent to good business in the Overseas.

In the Overseas the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions have jointly smashed the opening weekend records of even films like `3 Idiots` and `My Name Is Khan` in the US.

J.D. Majethia`s `Khichdi-The Movie` could not come anywhere near the popularity of the serial . In fact it turned out to be a good experimental attempt that turned horribly wrong (despite the uniform critical acclaim) for it’s distributors, barring Gujarat, putting a question mark on the viability of such projects in the future.
