| The new releases of this week, Ashutosh Gowariker’s `Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se` and the Ram Gopal Varma directed `Rakhta Chartira 2` failed to embark even on a half decent start. No doubt `Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se` got some good critical acclaim but failed to draw the audience in. The third release of the same week, `Phas Gaya Re Obama` got good reviews and audience appreciation but the limited release hampers its prospects too. |

The performance of the Imran-Deepika starrer, `Break Ke Baad`, was a bit of an anticlimax, especially after the success of Imran`s `I Hate Luv Storys`. The below 30 crore film saw a dull to weak start across India and there was no improvement during the weekend. Having said that the impressive recoveries from non-theatrical revenue streams may just about make it an earning proposition, despite a poor theatrical run. The film has also disappointed in the Overseas.
