| Friday saw the release of the first real biggie of 2011, Anees Bazmee`s Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty , Irrfan Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Rimi Sen starrer, `Thank You`. This time around though the usual high buzz for an Anees Bazmee and Akshay Kumar starrer was quite less and so the film saw a mixed start, below the mark at the multiplexes and above average at the single screens. The good thing is that the film has seen a pick up in the latter shows, but it has to show a much better run during the weekend to succeed. |

Concluding yet again with Nikhil Advani’s `Patiala House`, the film hangs on but to no avail. The Rishi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma starrer has failed commercially, though the losses have been minimal. The film has also under-performed in the Overseas though is much better in the UK.
