| It was always expected that Zoya Akhtar’s `Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara` would take a good start, more so at the multiplexes, but the Hrithik Roshan starrer surpassed the expectations and has embarked on a good to fantastic start at the multiplexes! The opening varied from 70-80 and even 90 percent in some cases. The collections improved further as the day progressed. The single screens were expectedly lower at 35-50 percent but that is immaterial as the major revenue comes from the multiplexes. The first day is second only to the biggest of the year `Ready`! |

The super opening of the 13 crore (inclusive of all costs) Emraan Hashmi starrer `Murder 2` took one and all by surprise as apparently there seemed no real hype for the film or its music. However, as always the audience had different plans and patronized the film in a big way with weekend netting in excess of 22 crores! The film is sure to end as a super hit, with the first week expected to be in the region of 36.75 crore. The film though has not found favour with the Overseas audience.

After a dull first day, Puri Jagannadh’s Amitabh Bachchan starrer `Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap` showed a good pick up during the weekend and was also quite stable during the weekdays too. Given the good recovery from the non-theatrical rights the film is already profitable for the makers. The film though has under-performed in The Overseas (better in US).

After a good weekend haul of 21.50 crore, Aamir Khan’s `Delhi Belly` continued to show good numbers during the weekdays too. However the 32 crore (inclusive of print and publicity) film fell heavily during the second week due to the `Murder 2` onslaught, though it hardly makes a difference as it will end as at least a hit plus or even higher! The film is also done very well in the Overseas (excellent in US).
