Checking out Rohit Shetty’s Ajay Devgan starrer `Singham`, the film had a super start at single screens and was somewhat lower at the multiplexes. But as we had predicted the film picked up more and more as the weekend progressed, improving even at the multiplexes, thanks to the hype and positive feedback. `Singham` saw the second best week (post `Ready`) of 2011, netting in excess of 50 crores(to be validated)! The film is a sureshot hit, given the rock steady weekdays. However, `Singham` has been rejected in the Overseas.

After a good opening weekend Zoya Akhtar’s `Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara` had a very steady run during the weekdays too. Though the single screens were lower it was more than compensated for by the superb multiplex run. The film is rock steady during the second week. The Hrithik Roshan starrer, `Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara`, is already a superhit in the Overseas.
