| Yash Raj Films’ frothy rom-com, the 25 crore `Mere Brother Ki Dulhan` embarked on a good start. The metros were higher at 80-90 percent and in some cases around 100 percent (Ahmedabad). The collections though were a bit lower at around 70-75 percent at mass oriented centers like C.P. Berar and CI and at around 50 percent single screens. The Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan and Ali Zafar starrer is expected to sail through into the profit zone quite soon. |

Checking out Salman Khan`s Eid-Ganesh Chaturthi blockbuster, `Bodyguard`, after an astonishing 100 crore during the first seven days, the film added another 10-11 crore during the remaining three days of the week. But that comes as no surprise as the film had already reached out to most of it’s prospective viewers during the extended five day weekend itself, thanks to the huge release and the high number of shows. `Bodyguard` is also doing superbly in the Overseas and will be Salman`s biggest hit there.
