| As was expected, Farhan Akhtar’s Shah Rukh Khan-Priyanka Chopra starrer, `Don 2`, has embarked on a bumper start at the multiplexes across the country. Be it Delhi-UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Orissa or Mysore circuit, the multiplexes have recorded 80-90 percent and above attendance. Coming to the single screens, the occupancies are lower (especially in Bihar and parts of CI) but at an all India level single screens too have notched up almost 60-70 percent collections. Given the outstanding first day and the advance booking trends, the film may well end up netting anything from 45-50 crore during the three day weekend. Initial reports from the Overseas circuit are also superb (US, Middle East & Australia) and `Don 2` may surpass the final tally of year’s best, `RA.One`. |
