| The opening of Sriram Raghavan’s Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer, `Agent Vinod`, was more or less on the expected lines. Most multiplexes of major urban centers recorded good to decent collections. The single screens were never expected to be on the same level, and nor were they, but the film managed fair to decent start (40-50 percent) at mid sized towns, while smaller centers saw an ordinary start of around 20-30 percent. The first day has seen `Agent Vinod` netting just short of 10 crores (betters Saif`s best solo starrer by about 2 crores!) With the word of mouth being mixed, leaning more towards positive, due to the high number of prints in circulation, the stylish spy thriller is expected to have a bountiful weekend. |
