This Friday’s major release, the 21-22 crore Madhur Bhandarkar directed Kareena, Arjun and Randeep starrer, `Heroine`, opened to a dull to decent response. The start of the film varied from 40-55 percent on an average, while some high end multiplexes and good single screens of big cities reported a higher 60 percent. The film did not show any growth during the second day due to a not so positive feedback, while it was damaged further the super strong `Barfi!` |

The Vikram Bhatt directed Bipasha-Emraan starrer, `Raaz 3`, took an expected hit from `Barfi!` in the second week and the collections fell badly, but still, adding the non theatrical rights and the handsome returns from India, `Raaz 3` is Emraan Hashmi’s first solo blockbuster. The film has also done well (for an Emraan solo) in the Overseas.

Meanwhile after a so-so opening week EROS International and Bhansali Productions’ Boman-Farah starrer, `Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi`, crashed badly in the second and third week, but will just about escape, after accounting for the non theatrical rights. The film has also under-performed in the Overseas.
