The music of the film had a lot of potential but needed more time to grow and the `Diwali` release, `Om Shanti Om` will again be very strong, next weekend. However, the performance in UK is expected to be good.

The first `Diwali` release, Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Ranbir, Sonam, Salman (special appearance) and Rani starrer, `Saawariya`, could not hold its collections after the first three days. The collections nosedived on the 4th and 5th day. Still, thanks mainly to the first weekend, `Saawariya` has managed to yield a distributors share of around 12 crore. Trade sources believe that the makers will be lucky not to lose around 10 crores(worldwide), even if all its earnings are pooled together, given the huge budget and involved costs. The collections of `Saawariya` have also fallen heavily in the Overseas.

The first week distributors share of `Om Shanti Om` is in the range of 27-28 crores and it is a new record as is its first week India total, and by a long way! Priyadarshan`s `Bhool Bhulaiyaa` also had a heavy fall and for the same reason as `Jab We Met`. Despite that, it is now the biggest hit of Akshay Kumar`s career. `Bhool Bhulaiyaa` is also a good hit in the Overseas.
