With no significant release till March 7th, the focus remains on the February 15 release, Ashutosh Gowariker`s `Jodhaa Akbar`. After a good first weekend, the movie fell significantly from Monday onwards, but again had a rewarding second weekend. The makers have come forth with a 10-day total of around 35 crores from India, and that takes the UTV project into the safety zone. The Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer `Jodhaa Akbar` is already a superhit in the Overseas, with US being outstanding.

The much appreciated `Mithya` from Planman Motion Pictures also fell quite heavily. One feels that with an open week, or with a less formidable opponent as compared to the might of `Jodhaa Akbar`, it could have once again gone the `Bheja Fry` way for the director, Rajat Kapoor. All the same, given its rock bottom budget and selling prices, `Mithya` is almost an average in India

Aamir Khan`s directorial debut venture, `Taare Zameen Par` takes a huge fall for the first time and that in its ninth week. The Darsheel, Aamir and Tisca starrer has performed extremely well in the US but has under-performed in the UK. But given the overall collections in the Overseas circuit, `Taare Zameen Par` is a hit there.
