The coming Friday will see two contrasting releases, Aziz Mirza`s Juhi Chawla, Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan starrer `Kismat Konnection` and Ram Gopal Varma`s next underworld saga (with a new terrorism angle), `Contract`. Both the movies have enough space to live and prosper but one feels that `Konnection` will turn out to be the front runner.

Last Friday`s major release was Afzal Khan`s much delayed, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan and Manisha Koirala starrer, `Mehbooba`. The film opened to a dull response in Bombay and in almost all other circuits the opening was poor, barring a few small cities. The seems to belong to a different era and will, therefore, fail at the ticket window.

Producer Aamir Khan`s Abbas Tyrewala directed Imran Khan and Genelia D`Souza starrer, `Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na`, is excellent at multiplexes but not on the same scale in single screens of many centres. But that is hardly a dampener! There is no doubt that There is no doubt that `Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na` is proving to be a huge hit all over. It is also good in most Overseas circuits.
