It`s another crowded week at the ticket window, with yet again four major releases. The list includes Bobby-Priyanka`s `Chamku`, the Tusshar-Raima starrer `C Kkompany`, `Mukhbiir` with Samir Dattani and the Arjun-Farhan project `Rock On!! It is but obvious that it will once again be injurious for the health of all the four releases, though the pack leaders are likely to be `C Kkompany` and `Rock On!!`, while `Chamku` and `Mukhbiir` vying for critical acclaim.

Last Friday had a big surprise in store. Contrary to all expectations, the horror film `Phoonk` opened to excellent houses. And that was the scene not just in one or two centres or a couple of circuits, but all over! Based on its low 3crore cost, the Ram Gopal Varma directed film is a clean hit based on just its first week collections, that are awaited, formally!

Berar and Rajasthan but is quite dull elsewhere. The Rumi Jafery directed film looks like a lost case due to its poor collections. The film has also been rejected in the Overseas.

Yash Raj`s Ranbir, Bipasha, Deepika and Minissha starrer `Bachna Ae Haseeno` scored heavily during the weekend but dropped from the 4th/5th day onwards, once the holidays were over. All the same, it generated impressive shares, especially from the multiplexes and major cities. The film is all set to be the next success for Yash Raj after the blockbuster `Chak De India`, almost a year back. `Bachna Ae Haseeno` is fair in the UK but doing quite well in the US.

Vipul Shah`s Akshay-Katrina starrer `Sing Is Kinng` is extraordinary in North and Overseas (including Pakistan). It did good business in the weekend in other circuits, but fell heavily during the weekdays. Still the two week total is good enough to make the film a hit (flop in Bihar), in India, despite the fancy prices. The film is also big success in the Overseas.
