This Friday sees as many as three releases in the form of Vikram Bhatt`s horror film `1920`, Randeep Hooda`s `Ru-Ba-Ru` and of course, Amitabh Bachchan`s Rituparno Ghosh directed English language film, `The Last Lear`. One feels that `Ru-Ba-Ru` has nil chances, but the slick horror flick `1920` and especially the extremely well made (and critically acclaimed) `The Last Lear` have the potential to make a mark at the ticket window.

Last Friday saw another surprise after `Phoonk` and `Rock On!!. The film in question is the Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher starrer, `A Wednesday`. Though the film started on a dull note, the technically polished product had the merits to pick up and it did so as the weekend progressed. Given its low budget, the film is surely going to be another success for UTV Motion Pictures.
