The Succesful Films of The First Half of 2003

In the first half of 2003, a total of 117 films have released. Of these 67 were
straight Hindi films and 50 were dubbed in Hindi from English and other
languages. The industry lost Rs. 110 crore during this period with the number of
hits or anything close to be earners for their film crews being limited to a
fingerīs count! Itīs a sad state of affairs indeed with only recent tidings
proving to be any such different. We present our summation of the successful
films of the first half of 2003.

other places but is also losing at many places. |

*- For these films we must add that these "children" category films
are yet to be released at many small centers and that would improve their
position somewhat.
