dil chahta hai is excellent, but way worse than lagaan

Ok in my opinion dil chahta hai was an excellent movie. But still lagaan was one of the greatest movies ever made in bollywood. I mean in lagaan each and every scene had perfection. Each and every scene had a meaning. Overall amir khan did his lifetime's best acting in this movie. I dont even think that shah rukh khan could have done this excellent job. Also the music was awesome. Both the songs and the background score was so great.
ok my point here is that dil chahta hai is a great movie, but its no way near than lagaan. Lagaan is a lifetime movie.
