In all the viewer so far nobody seemed to have noticed the background score by Ilayaraaja and the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra. Was it because the westernised score did not seem to suit a Hindi film or was it too subdued than the normal style of bgm seen in Hindi films or was Ilayaraaja' score stupid. Could anyone please enlighten. Because this is the second time in the history of Indian films that a composer has used a western orchestra and western scores for an Indian film. First was for Hey Ram and now for Lajja. Would appreciate some feedback on the Ilayaraaja score. Thank you.
