My review of PIAM...........spoilers included[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ PyaarIshqAurMohobbat Forum ] Posted by Millenium2001 on August 24, 2001 at 18:23:00: Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat is a story of 3 boys (Sunil Shetty, Aftabh Shivdasani and Arjun Ramphal) who fall in love with Isha (Kirthi Reddi) First off, in the performance category, it is Arjun Ramphal who walks away with a HUGE debut film. This kid does REALLY well in his role as Gaurav and I see great things for him in the future. Sunil Shetty gets better with every performance. Where the script was lacking in this movie, he made up for it with his acting skill. The role of the businessman suited him VERY WELL. Aftabh Shivdasani held his own territory and did a good job. However, I liked him better in Kasoor..... Kirthi Reddi STILL cannot act....looks like she didn't learn a thing from Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya. Her looks, however, are a different matter ;) The music is VERY well done.....all the singles for this movie are romantic numbers. My favorites in the lot are "Jab Tujhe Maine" and "Main Bewafa". They both are done well. Picturization of the songs are nice as well. Going into the climax, the film was pretty average....your regular love triangle. However, the climax just KILLS any effect the film had on you and just makes you wish you hadn't watched the film at all. I said at the top that spoilers are included, so here we go: The fact that in the entire film, the three guys all go after one girl, you know what only one can get her. That guy ends up being Arjun....nothing wrong with that. So what happens to Sunil Shetty and Aftabh Shivdasani? THEY GET FIXED UP with the two losing girls basically.....so in the end EVERYONE IS HAPPY!! That is....EXCEPT FOR THE VIEWER. I was disgusted and I felt like throwing that video right out of the window when I saw that happening. To see two guys chase ONE GIRL for an entire movie and then seem happy with different girls at the end is just plain IDIOTIC... I beg of you, if you want to see some good songs, by all means watch Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, or to see Arjun Ramphal. But please, DO NOT WATCH THE END OF THIS MOVIE. I repeat: DO NOT WATCH THE CLIMAX. DO NOT WATCH A SINGLE PART AFTER AFTABH GIVES ARJUN A ROSE TO GIVE TO ISHA. IT WILL RUIN YOUR DAY..... Since a climax is part of the film, I will give this film a failing grade. If they had just stopped the film after Arjun gives her the rose, it could have ended peacefully..... Thus, I assign a F--- to this movie: If the climax was cut, I would have given it 6.5/10
