The music is not even a patch on that of Taal, except maybe the title song. The casting of the three main characters is befittng, especially Jackie Shroff who performs beautifully. The pairing of Hrithik and Kareena is not as billiant as Subhash Ghai is saying, they do act well together but sorry Mr Subhash are not the best pair that hit indian films. The movie starts at a good pace and continues to hold interest for approximately 2 hours, then the move starts to drag, ith unneccesary song sequences (Hrithik and Kareena on boat). The climax scene is especially long with too many lectures. Subhash Ghai makes Hithik say that he wants love not money, yet Mr Ghai has spent unscrupulous amounts of time on the shamedly advertisements for Pass-Pass (highly annoying) and Coke. Overall the film will hold forte initially only because of the performance of the three main leads and the fact that it is a Subhash Ghai film. The cinematography and especially the script were weak and definitely not one of Ghais best.
