With the exception of 'Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaaye', I have not seen a movie that could have been more stupidity glorified than Yaadein!
It is really one piece of crap that does not even deserve piracy! I mean, come on! Give me a break! Did Subhash Ghai really think that people would fall for this movie? That they would like it? Even a vegetable without a brain would refuse to watch this movie, ever again! An absolute waste of time!
Someone here said, "I can't believe that this movie is as bad as people are making out to be." Well, I just have one thing to say to him, 'Go watch the movie, waste 8 of your well-earned dollars, and then return and spit out the same statement'. The movie is "Dhaba", a "Kalank" on the face of Indian cinema. Just imagine the non-Indians that would have flocked to see this movie after witnessing the perfection of LAGAAN. They will probably not be interested ever again in seeing an Indian movie. Because, this 'Yaadein' has let-down the Indian Film Industry.
What can I say? Since Mr Ghai has freedom of speech, this film can't even be banned. But if there was the perfect BAD movie, it would HAVE to be 'Yaadein'.
My advice to everyone who would be interested in seeing this movie: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! Go watch LAGAAN instead. Even if you've seen it a couple of times already! :)
Yaadein! Pssshhh! Sure, I'll remember to forget the whole nightmare!
