Yaadein: I actually kind of liked it???

Yes I agree that the movie has a million flaws. There are a lot of really ridiculous scenes in the movie and in many parts, the events that occur are totally illogical. The ending of the movie and the climax scene are incredibly stupid and make no sense at all. All in all, it really feels that Subhash Ghai was in a real hurry to make the movie and ended up with a sloppy product.
However, there was something really beautiful as well about the movie. I have some sort of a hangover after this movie, I get the kind of feeling I would usually get after watching a true classic. I just cant get it out of my mind. I think I am very specifically talking about the Hrithik-Kareena love story. I think it was really beautiful and realistically done. There were also some really great scenes in the movie which were not 'cliched.'I dont know, maybe I have simply been hynotised by Kareena's beauty. I also think that Hrithik will some day be remembered as a great actor, not just someone who is popular because of his looks.
Yes I know that the movie sometimes feels like a David Dhawan movie, minus the entertainment. However, for some strange reason, the movie personally connects with me, which only classics do!
I think I am the only one who enjoyed this movie. If anyone else would like to say anything good about the movie, please respond to this post. Please dont respond to this post bashing the movie, we have all seen enough of that.
