I agree with you dude. This movie was bad from any point of view (the songs were ok, not great). Probably the worst movie of last couple of years. What really sucks is ghai did quite good in the first week and calling it a hit, but he just screwed everyone. People thought the movie was good, and went to see it and they wasted 8 dollars. Heck even mujhe kuch kehna hai (which is thought was very bad) can be considered classic relative to yaadein.
