After all the excitement of this movie, I finally got a chance to see it in the theatre. Although the first half of the movie is creative and entertaining, the second half doesn't deliver. Subhash Ghai's direction fails once again at the ending, which is predictable and annoying. And surely the presentation of American Born South Asians isn't correct, as with this movie most people in the subcontient will feel as though American Born South Asian Males are all flirts and have hundreds of girlfriends. Luckily, Ghai comes accross with this point well, although it annoys me.
And whats up with the showing of a Vancouver bridge in Los Angeles? Why not just show a bridge in Los Angeles. Directional flaws like this are shared with the recent Reema Rakesh Nath film, Mohobaat-- but that is a completely different story.
