Pardes is a very entertaining and watchable film, after watching it
leaves you with an affect, since Subhash Ghai's films have always been a
little stylish. There is a huge resemblance between pardes and 1995's
biggest blockbuster DDLJ in the case of Amrish Puris pure hindustani role.
Shahrukh khan once again gives us a great performance and new comer
Maheema Chaudry excels at her debut film.

The songs are very nice with different beats and the cinematography is
excellent. The story revolves around true indians who live in a village and
how there culture stops them from doing many things despite being abroad,
it is also a love story between three characters where in this case you
cannot consider it a triangle. Since she is engaged to one but from her
loneliness abroad away from home she develops a great friendship with her
mangetar's(apoorva's) brother Arjun(shahrukh)who is an adopted child of
amrish puri's.

She finds herself slightly unhappy with the lifestyle that her mangetar is
living and this is where the drama begins. although the storyline is a
little bit typical it has been made very differently.
Watch pardes to feel the enjoyment and to hum along"i love my india"..
