The word "success" continues to elude Diya Mirza ever since she has started her journey with Bollywood. After delivering several flops last year, once again Diya Mirza has to settle with the disappointing outcome of "Dum" and that too inspite of co-starring with the current sensation Vivek Oberoi.

But it is just not the end for Diya Mirza. The latest on her is that she has been signed by none other than avant-garde director Govind Nihalani for his next venture, in which she is said to have a very powerful and hard-hitting role. The movie will also star Namrata Shirodkar and Sharad Kapoor. With someone like Govind Nihalani calling the shots, Diya does have something to look forward to in the future.

She will also be sharing the screen with Namrata Shirodkar in Mahesh Manjrekar´s "Pran Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye". Diya is also playing the lead role of "Padmashree" in Mahesh Manjrekar´s "Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav".

If it can be recalled, Govind Nihalani is also directing "Dev", which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Om Puri, Kareena Kapoor and Fardeen Khan.
