Veteran actor-director Asrani , has been signed to play an important character role in D.M.S. Films Pvt. Ltd.´s ´Sipahee´ , to be direced by K.Subhash from South .

Incidently , ´Sipahee´ , earlier called ´Sipahi´ , is being presented by Rajkumar Santoshi and repeats the successful ´Khakee´ cop team of Akshay , Ajay and Tusshar Kapoor with only Amitabh missing .
