Himesh Reshammiya was this year's most over-worked and over used composer. In Aitraaz, an attempt at re-creating the success of Humraaz's Bardaasht came with this feisty feet tapping tune.

Shah is often reliant on for composing feet tapping techno sassy songs like this. Unfortunately he has no control over what happens with the songs once it hits the big screen

Oh yes, the forgotten song from the forgotten film and the one worth listening to more than once.

Rajshri's teeny bopper romance with the long title had a few songs, like this one, worth listening to. 

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's superlative composition may have gotten lost in the bizarre-ness of the film itself but their atmospheric soundtrack is well worth remembered.

It's not often we hear Sajid-Wajid's work. In Garv a little bit of something old sounded quite new and even addictive.

This soundtrack, and particularly this song was refreshing, cool and crisp, reminding us of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's earlier work in Dil Chahta Hai. Unfortunately the film wasn't even close.

Jatin-Lalit were able to brush some of the dust off their record with this Yash Chopra production, and more than likely for this sugary sweet romantic tune.

Murder was one of 2004's biggest films, and biggest soundtracks for this song which had unique vocals and a great composition by Anu Malik.

Sajid-Wajid at their very "typical but lovable" best.
