Part 1 - Songs 21 to 30
Selection by: Planet Bollywood Staff

Rank Song Movie Singers Music
30 Tala Tum Aitraaz Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik & Jayesh Gandhi  Himesh Reshammiya

Himesh Reshammiya was this year's most over-worked and over used composer. In Aitraaz, an attempt at re-creating the success of Humraaz's Bardaasht came with this feisty feet tapping tune.

29 Mashooqa Rubi Asambhav Anuradha Sriram, Nayan Rathod & Rajiv Rai  Viju Shah

Shah is often reliant on for composing feet tapping techno sassy songs like this. Unfortunately he has no control over what happens with the songs once it hits the big screen

28 Silsile Mulaqaton Ke

Bardaasht

Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik Himesh Reshammiya

Oh yes, the forgotten song from the forgotten film and the one worth listening to more than once.

27 Uuf Kya Jaadoo Mohabbat Hai Uuf Kya Jaadoo Mohabbat Hai Sunidhi Chauhan Sandesh Shandilya

Rajshri's teeny bopper romance with the long title had a few songs, like this one, worth listening to.

26 Ishq Khudai Rudraksh Shankar, Mahalaxmi, Shweta & Krishna Shankar-Ehsan-Loy

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's superlative composition may have gotten lost in the bizarre-ness of the film itself but their atmospheric soundtrack is well worth remembered.

25 Hum Tumko Nigaahon Mein Garv Udit Narayan & Shreya Ghoshal  Sajid Wajid

It's not often we hear Sajid-Wajid's work. In Garv a little bit of something old sounded quite new and even addictive.

24 No No, Kyun Ho Gaya Na Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... Shankar, Kunal Ganjawala, Dominique Cerejo, Loy Mendonca and Chetan Shashital Shankar-Ehsan-Loy

This soundtrack, and particularly this song was refreshing, cool and crisp, reminding us of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's earlier work in Dil Chahta Hai. Unfortunately the film wasn't even close.

23 Hum Tum  Hum Tum Babul Spriyo & Alka Yagnik Jatin-Lalit

Jatin-Lalit were able to brush some of the dust off their record with this Yash Chopra production, and more than likely for this sugary sweet romantic tune.

22 Kaho Na Kaho Murder Amir Jamal Anu Malik

Murder was one of 2004's biggest films, and biggest soundtracks for this song which had unique vocals and a great composition by Anu Malik.

21 Rab Kare Mujhse Shaadi Karogi Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik Sajid Wajid

Sajid-Wajid at their very "typical but lovable" best.
