Hum Ho Gaye Aap Ke is one movie that has been definitely lying low, with no publicity or hype (with reason?) until the audio release. Starring Fardeen Khan and Riya Sen, there isn´t much about this movie so far beyond the album´s release

Hum Ho Gaye Aap Ke, rendered by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, sets off the album to a good start with pleasant music and soft lyrics. The catchy title song is excellent, though Kumar Sanu sounded a tad bit too nasal. Excellent!

Ishq Hai Kya picks up the pace with fast music and not-so-noteworthy lyrics. Sonu Nigam picks up this Fardeen Khan prancer, as he wails "Love me love me just for the day....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Wonder if Khan´s singing this ´addictive´ song to his little packet of sweet-smelling refreshing errrr baby powder? We could have done without the ridiculous English lyrics and still come out with a okay club song, but this is crossing the limits to....PASS!

Abhi To Mohabbat Ka reinstates out hope that this may atually be a good album after the precious shock. Sung refreshingly by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, the music is traditional ´running in the field of flowers´ (as are the lyrics) though irritated by the Jhankar beat syndrome. Beyond the Jhankar trap, the song is really nice and one of the better ones of the album (hint!). Nice!

Der Se Hua, a solo by Alka Yagnik, takes on a slower, pleasant tempo with decent singing and mediocre lyrics. The repeated beat is irritating but the sweetness of the song makes up for it, making a nice listen. Nice

Pehli Baar Dil Ye,  a duet by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, is definitely the best song of the album, with catchy lyrics and cleverly fresh music.  Hit!

Re Mama plummets into "Ishq Hai Kya" trap of repulsion, making sure that Sunidhi Chauhan is soon going to be unemployed if she doesn´t par up to her initial start. On the positive start, the music is bearable, but that is unfortunately overwhelmed by stupid lyrics and not-so-pleasant singing. I guess Sen needs an equally pathetic song to Khan´s Ishq Hai Kya? Pass!

Der Se Hua 2 is the male version, sung by Kumar Sanu. The album finishes up with an instrumental version of the title song.

Overall, a nice, refreshing album.
