You
can say that this is an Anu Malik album because he has done everything in this album sing,
write, and compose. However, this is not one of his better albums like "Diljale"
and "Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee".
The album starts out with "Dil le le lena" sung by Abhijeet, Anamika, Jojo (who?) and Anu Malik. It is copied from the international hit "Macarena". I personally don't like this song because it sounds corny and it's not right to copy someone else's work. The next song is "Masti ka Aalam Aaya hai", a catchy number sung by Gurdaas Mann, Ila Arun, Sabri Bros. and Jojo. Everyone might not like this song. The "A" side ends with "I Love You, I Love You" sung by Shankar Mahadevan. It seems that even after apologizing to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Anu Malik still copies his work, because " I Love You.." sounds very similar to NFAK's qawali " Allah Hoo".
The "B" side starts out with a passable song "Hum Aur Tum Aur Yeh Shaam". It's sung by Alka Yagnik, Anu Malik, and Remo Fernandes. The next song is my favorite of the album, "Dil Ke Sau Tukde". Sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. The next song is "Tujhe Khaas Fursat Mein" sung by Chandana Dixit, Kumar Sanu, and Udit Narayan. It's a bit catchy. The album ends with "Thahra Hai Yeh Samaa" sung Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, it's passable.
