It appears almost all the music publishers are getting into movie production business. Venus, Time Magnetics, Plus, Weston already produce movies. Tips has just completed "Auzaar" and now United Music and TV company is coming out with "Dil Ke Jharoke Main" starring Manisha Koirala, Mamik and Vikas Bhalla.

The first song "Dil ke jharoke main aaja, chanda sa mukhda dikhaja" is the best song of the movie, sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. It has a catchy tune and good lyrics.

The second song "Rassi utte tangaya dupatta mera dole", sung by Alka Yagnik and chorus, has a punjabi folk tune.

The third song "Jugnu se jagmag raaten", sung by Udit Narayan is a slow sad song. The singer is wondering where have all the good times gone.

B-side starts with a party dance number "Aao re parwano, sagaai hai shama ki", sung by Vinod Rathod, Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan. It has a "Goan" style.

In the second song the singer (Kumar Sanu) is griping about the pain and misery brought on him by his nears and dears (Shama ne jalaya ho jab aashiyana, hawaon pe ilzam phir kyoon lagana). This is typical of similar songs in 60 and 70's movies.

The last song is another good duet "Shahe dilbara" sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

Overall a good cassette, but may get lost in the sea of mega star cast and big budget movies coming out in the next few months.
