The super hit team of Govinda and David Dhawan is back with Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla.

A-side starts with an ordinary worded but somewhat lively number "O mummy mummy, O daddy daddy" well sung by Udit Narayan in his "mast" style. The song has shades of a song ("Main hoon aashik aashik aawara") by the same team from 1993 movie "Aashik Aawara".

The second song is a typical duet "Ye gaya wo gaya dil mera kho gaya" sung by Vinod Rathod and Alka Yagnik.

The third song "Head ya tail pyar mohabbat dil ka khel" is sung by Udit Narayan, Vinod Rathod and chorus (Inlay cards also lists Kavita Krishnamurthy as the singer, but she does not sing the song unless she is part of the chorus!). The song has silly words typical of Govinda-David Dhawan movies ("Thode pagalkhane gaye thode jail mein", "Romeo ka ho gaya tha heart fail").

B-side starts with a well composed, and one of the better worded, catchy number "Tere bina dil lagta nahin O meri jaan, kya karoon kya karoon" sung nicely by Udit Narayan, Vinod Rathod and Alka Yagnik. The song has a potential to be in the top 25.

The second song "Dil chahe kisi se pyar karoon" is sung by Alka Yagnik. It is typical LP style song, pointing to heroine's dilemma of wanting to doing something and then having second thoughts about it.

The last song is a lively duet "Khidki khuli zara .... Hungama ho gaya" sung well by both Sonu Nigam and Poornima, but Sonu Nigam stands out with his Rafi style singing. The song goes well with Govinda starrer (One can visualize this song picturised on Govinda and Karishma (but there is no Karishma here)

During their 30+ years carrier, LP have given numerous hits. However, in the 90's they have not been able to create many hit tunes. With thousand of tunes to their credit, if one looks deep enough the songs in this movie seem to be derived from their earlier tunes. The songs are OK but fail to stand out and grab attention. It appears that the music isn't going to help the movie much. Will the movie help the music, remains to be seen?
