Fresh from the praise she has got for her chirpy performance in the recently released "Rishtey", Shilpa Shetty is finally getting offers with some good and meanigful roles. If it can be recalled, Dharmesh Darshan´s "Dhadkan" gave her not so happening career a new life. But even though she hasn´t achieved the same success as "Dhadkan", she has been appreciated for a variety of roles like those in Mahesh Manjrekar´s "Hathyar" and now Indra Kumar´s "Rishtey".

There had been news for a while that she has been signed by Aruna Raje for a strong role in her forthcoming movie "Laal Batti".

But the icing on the cake is that she has been signed for a big budget international project. The movie is said to have many Bollywood stars and will be sent to various international film festivals. The movie will be in Hindi and will be directed by some Mr. Sipra.

Also there have reports that she has been signed for the 65 crore Ramgopal Varma directed project, starring Amitabh Bachchan.
