Sanjay Leela Bhansali has just acquired another feather for his cap. Not only is his forthcoming project Devdas hitting Paris in May, his last release Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam will now be released in Japan.

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam features Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan and National Award winner Ajay Devgan.

The film is the first Hindi film to be released in 60 cinemas all across Japan. The film has been re-titled "Mimora" and will be featuring with subtitles.

Naturally director Bhansali is on a high with this appreciation. The Japanese Parliament has also organized a special screening of the film which will celebrate 50 years of Indo-Japanese diplomatic relations.

Aishwarya Rai, the actress in the film was asked to attend the special screening but her shootings of Bhansali´s next film Devdas have prevented her from doing so. She has supposedly sent a video-telecast to the government which will be broadcasted in the theatres prior to the viewing of the movie.
