While Salim Bijnori has composed the lyrics for most of the soundtrack, Nusrat shows great versatility with his scintillating "Hai Ishq Khata", "Deewangee" and "Ai Ajnabi". Ismail Darbar has also bounced back from an atrocious outing with Shakti - The Power. The songs for Deewangee, especially "Hai Ishq Khata" and the techno semi-qawaali "Saasein Hi Saasein" have already caught up greatly with the masses.

After romancing movie star and singer Sargam (Urmila) the two decide they will spend the rest of their lives together. Sargam is worried, however, for her friend Tarang Bharadwaj. Tarang and Sargam are long close friends. Tarang has composed for some of Sargamīs biggest hits. Tarangīs trouble is that he was found and seen murdering Ashwin Mehta (Vijayendra Ghatge). Not only was his body at the crime scene but he was dosed with blood and his fingerprints were all over the utilities used to stab Ashwin repeatedly. Tarang vows his innocence and explains what actually happen but the only who can help him is Raj. Sargam pleas to Raj to help him and Raj eventually does. But, as Raj and Tarang get closer and learn more about the occurrences, Raj realizes that he must find the real killer. He sets out on a venture that turns out more dangerous than the crime that was committed. As the line in the film says, "What started as a murder becomes more dangerous than the crime committed". Who is the murderer? But more importantly who will survive to find it out? |
