Rakeysh Mehra's Aamir Khan starrer 'Rang De Basanti' will be tax-free in Delhi from today (Saturday) and it seems like Aamir Khan's efforts have finally paid off .

Not many will be aware (and before shameless sources copy it once again , like our scoop about Hrithik turning down 'Rang De Basanti' ) that Aamir Khan , along with the producers went to Delhi with great hopes , for seeking tax-exemption for the film . This , after all the trouble with the 'kutta-billi'(cat-dog) activists , various ministries and the bureaucracy .

What may have weighed in favour of the exemption must be the fact that the competent authorities also want their 15 minutes of fame (like the self proclaimed animal loving publicity hounds) , though this time for a good deed . One must add that 'Rang De Basanti' deserved it for many other reasons too !
