Will director Imtiaz Ali be able to take us on a journey worth experiencing or will it prove to be a bumpy ride ?.

Our in-house expert and ace astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the fate of this Sajid Nadiadwala production:

“The title ‘HIGHWAY’ adds up to Number 22 – this octave of Number 4 (Rahu) is symbolized as a good person who lives in dreams and illusion under the influence of others and who awakens only when surrounded by danger. It is also a number of false judgments. As a number in connection with future events; its warning and meaning should be carefully noted” explains Bhavikk.

“As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will appeal mainly to its target audience who frequent multiplexes of metros/big cities and that’s about it” predicts Bhavikk.

“But fortunately or so, the year 2014 which adds up to Number 7 (Ketu) is likely to prove lucky for most Number 1, 2, 4 and 7 people, places, dates, names etc. and the film’s title vibration (22) would somewhat prove beneficial in this case” he adds.

“Add to that, one of the film’s lead actors Randeep Hooda (20th August 1976) and the director himself Imtiaz Ali (16th June 1971) both fall in to this bracket directly”.

“No prizes for guessing while Randeep will do an earnest job; the film will have the typical Imtiaz Ali stamp all over it (his forte in handling emotional scenes very well and the tongue-in-cheek humour in the script)”.

“As for Alia Bhatt (15th March 1993), she is a Piscean (ruler Jupiter – Number 3) and the film’s release date 21st February 2014 is an auspicious one for her and hence she will be appreciated a lot for her performance which is a huge transformation from her first film”.

“In short, the film will be a pleasurable trip for a select audience but for most others; it will remain a road less travelled, as a result of which the final ‘destination’ (read box office numbers) may not be enriching enough” signs off Bhavikk on a clear note.
