Price, stars and producers have a strange equation. The best of producers who can afford to pay the best of prices to the best of stars, normally pay the least. The not-so-financially healthy producers have to pay through their nose for the smallest of stars, who incidentally, would probably work for free in a big producer's movie! And illustrative of this uncommon logic about star prices is Kareena's deal with Farhan Akhtar.

For the small role that she is doing in the remake of 'Don' , Kareena is charging Farhan her full price, whereas for the full-length role she is doing in Farhan's other film co-starring Hrithik Roshan, she has reduced her price! It goes without saying that in 'Don' , she will be shooting for far fewer days, and in the other film, she will be putting in much more time and effort! But price, stars and producers have a strange equation.... something that probably even they can't fathom too easily!
