Now this one’s an official remake of the BAFTA nominated British film ‘Metro Manila’ (2013).
But the big question is – will the National award winning team of director Hansal Mehta and actor Rajkummar Rao be able to repeat the success after their highly acclaimed previous attempt ‘Shahid’.
“The title ‘CITYLIGHTS’ adds up to Number 28 – this octave of Number 1 (Sun) is a number of contradictions. It symbolizes a person of great promise and possibilities who is likely to see all taken away from them; unless they carefully arrange for the future. It also indicates loss through trust in others, opposition and competition in trade, danger of loss through law and the likelihood of having to begin life's road over and over again” explains Bhavikk.
“As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will appeal only to its target audience who like watching dark, brooding and intense cinema. As for others, they would prefer to stay away” predicts Bhavikk.
“But wait….all is still not lost !!!! (he continues with a pause)
“The year 2014 which adds up to Number 7 (Ketu) is likely to prove lucky for most Number 1, 2, 4 and 7 people and the film’s protagonist Rajkummar Rao (31st August 1984) comes into this bracket directly; while his ‘destiny’ number adds up to Number 7 (Ketu)”.
“No prizes for guessing the talented man will once again deliver a solid act which will be etched in the audience’s memory for a long time” he adds.
“Last but not the least, producer Mukesh Bhatt’s (5th June 1952) ‘destiny’ number sums up to Number 2 (Moon); while presenter Mahesh Bhatt (20th September 1949) too falls in the 1, 2, 4, 7 category; and hence they both shall be praised for coming up with a bold and a powerful film; not withstanding it’s box-office outcome” signs off Bhavikk on a clear note.
