As the title suggests, this one’s a biographical sports film based on the life of former Indian athlete Milkha Singh.
Will director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra rise from the oblivion and succeed in making this film a ‘runaway’ (pun intended) hit ?.
“The title ‘BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG’ is adding up to Number 40 – an octave of Number 4 (Rahu) which is not a fortunate number from a worldly or material standpoint. It is self-contained, lonely and isolated” explains Bhavikk.
“Going as per the numerological interpretation, the intention behind making this film may be truly honest, but the revenue generated would be less than expected and hence it may underperform, if viewed solely from the box office point of view” predicts Bhavikk.
“But on the brighter side, the current year 2013 which adds up to Number 6 (Venus) is likely to prove lucky for most Number 3, 6, 8 and 9 people, places, dates, names etc. and the main protagonist of the film Farhan Akhtar (9th January 1974) who is running in his 40th year and Sonam Kapoor (9th June 1985) in her 29th year – both fall in to this bracket directly while Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s (7th July 1963) ‘destiny’ number adds up to Number 6 and has just entered in his 51st year”.
“No prizes for guessing the sheer hard work, dedication and determination shown by Farhan in terms of working on his body, looking like the real life character and adapting his body language will simply shine through the film and his effort will be unanimously applauded by one and all for pulling off such a difficult role with rare maturity and finesse”.
“On the other hand, Sonam who’s fresh from the success of ‘Raanjhanaa’ will once again deliver a likable performance as usual and will add one more credible film in her kitty”.
“After giving us a landmark film like ‘Rang De Basanti’, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will be back in full form this time and prove that he’s a master story teller and brilliant when it comes to making films on national integration”.
“Last but not the least, the film’s release date – 12th July 2013 is a day primarily ruled by Number 3 (Jupiter) – the planet of wealth and prosperity and that shall help the film recover its investment from other varied sources like satellite, DVD sales etc.”.
“In short, ‘run’ to your nearest cinema hall to catch a glimpse of this ‘flying’ Sikh. It will be one cinematic experience you would cherish for a long long time” signs off Bhavikk on a positive note.
