Now this seems a Bollywood adaptation of the 2002 Spanish thriller ‘Box 507’.
Will debutant director Ahishor Solomon be able to do justice with a plagiarized script which he claims is only ‘loosely inspired’ ?.
“The title ‘JOHN DAY’ is adding up to Number 24 – an octave of Number 6 (Venus) which is a fortunate number. It promises the assistance and association of those of rank and position with one's plans; it also denotes gain through love and the opposite sex. It is a favorable number when it comes out in relation to future events” explains Bhavikk.
“Alas, Number 6 is represented by Venus - the planet of love, sex, harmony, peace etc. and this one being a thriller; the genre does not go in sync with the vibration of the title and hence the film will fail to take off and go largely unnoticed”.
“On the positive side, the release date of the film – 13th September 2013 is a day primarily ruled by Number 4 (Rahu) and in numerology – Numbers 1, 2, 4 and 7 are considered a ‘family’ of numbers”.
“Luckily or so, the two main protagonists of the film; Naseeruddin Shah (20th July 1950) and Randeep Hooda (20th August 1976) both fall in to this bracket directly and no prizes for guessing that both actors will give one of their best performances and shall even be appreciated for putting in an earnest effort”.
“But like I said, the box office collections will be far from encouraging and so all their hard work will go in vain” ends Bhavikk on a clear note.
