We have seen the first and the second 'Umrao Jaan' and they are Rekha( 1981) and Aishwarya Rai (2006) respectively . But that is not the end of it . We now have a third actress playing Umrao and it is none other than Soha Ali Khan .

According to sources Soha will be playing the famous courtesian in Sudhir Mishra's 'Khoya Khoya Chand' (earlier 'Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan' ) , where her co-star is Shiney Ahuja .

We must add that 'Khoya Khoya Chand' is not a full fledged film about 'Umrao Jaan' but one of the characters being portrayed in the movie . The film is basically about remakes and Soha plays an actress in the film .
