Usually the pre and post-Diwali week is considered ‘thanda’ and that’s why most of the times we don’t see major films releasing during that time.
This year is no different.
“ The title ‘A FLAT’ adds up to Number 17 – this octave of Number 8 is an extremely fortunate number provided it is not associated with the single numbers of fours ( 4 ) and eights ( 8 ). This is a highly spiritual number and symbolized by ‘peace and love’ ” explains Bhavikk.
“ But alas, the release date of the film which is set for 12th November 2010 will act a spoiler. The sum total of the date adds up to Number 8 ( Saturn ) and that may prove to be a deterrent and shall be responsible for making a dent in it’s business. Otherwise the film may turn out to be a decent watch ” predicts Bhavikk.
Bhavikk continues “ Since the lead cast comprising of actors Sanjay Suri and Jimmy Shergill do not have that much of holding power or rather ‘star pull’ ( to attract the crowds in to cinema halls ), it will be inconsequential to consider their ‘luck’ factor, as it may not help the film in great capacity. Hence, just going by the film’s vibration and it’s date of release, the fate of the film seems already ‘sealed’ ”.
“ Producer Anjum Rizvi striked gold with his last production ‘A Wednesday’, but as far as ‘A Flat’ is concerned, he might not find too many occupants ( read paying public ) this time over ” signs off Bhavikk hitting the final nail in the coffin.
