Amitabh Bachchan´s Stomach Surgery Successful!

Bachchan was happy and stable before he was wheeled in the operation theatre for the surgery.

The actor was wheeled into the OT at nine thirty in the morning today.

On Thursday, the superstar had tweeted on micro blogging site, Twitter about the surgery.

“My stomach which has already been the bed of many complicated battles in the past, shall have to entertain this as well,” the actor tweeted.

The actor had also informed that he would have to undergo a CT scan before going under the knife.

Before leaving for the hospital, Big B last night tweeted, “Set now for another trip to Hospital .. a destination that invites me more often than I would like ..”

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, thanked all for praying for his father and tweeted, "Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. The surgery went off well and dad is now in the room resting."
