Supreme Court Dismisses Petition Against Shahrukh Khan

Supreme Court today dismissed a petition seeking demolition of alleged illegal constructions raised by Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan in his bunglow Mannat in Mumbai.

A bench comprising Justices D K Jain and Anil R Dave dismissed the petition which alleged that Shahrukh has violated Environmental Laws and Coastal Area Rules which prohibit construction within the specified radius in the vicinity of the coast.

The petition was filed against the order of Bombay High Court which had dismissed the petition.
